I'm actually running the stock media basket on one side with a Innovative Marine Skimmate Protein Skimmer and an Innovative Marine Media Reactor. I do 2-3, 5 gallon water changes a week also.

I currently have
2 Frostbite Clowns
1 Mandarin Dragonet
1 Ruby Red Dragonet
1 Six Line Wrasse
1 Yasha Goby
1 more fish but I forgot what kind it is I believe a type of wrasse.

Thanks. I was just wondering in case I go this route with my sons jbj rl30. Was going to do a fowlr at first but I might add some lower light corals and I've read that the rock nems aren't as demanding when it comes to lighting. Your tank is a nice inspiration

Thank you, yes they are voracious eaters, but I do have 10 bubble tip anemones in there and they all love food everytime I put it in there. The bubble tips do require a good amount of light and decent flow so if they arent happy they won't eat. The rock flower anemones don't require high lighting and in some cases move from very bright spots, but they are a great addition to any reef tank
