This is my first tank, so there has definitely been a learning curve! I had no clue what I was in for when I set the empty tank up, but I think everything is coming along just fine now.
30gal tank
Dual Marineland filter
USA-Current Pro LED light
40lb live Fiji rock
20lb live sand
Small cleanup crew
1 clown
1 firefish
1 yellow headed goby
1 Midas Blenny (huge)

Before the rock was delivered, I experienced a bacterial bloom (or so I believe), but I was able to knock it down with Seachem's Clarity.

Yes, it looks like you are on the right track, keep up the good work. Thanks for the pics...

Thanks. There have been plenty of headaches and mistakes, but I feel like I'm getting the hang of it.

I'd like to find a hardy coral next and see how well that goes. All of my water parameters are borderline perfect right now, and have been for a couple weeks.

I've been alternating foods for with fish with frozen mysis mix, live brine, freeze dried brine, flakes, and fresh shrimp meat.

My biggest setback was my refractometer of all things... It was way out of calibration, and for some reason I never checked it. My salinity was at 1.013 and it was reading 1.024. Luckily I have a really good LFS and they caught it, but only after some zoanthids paid the price

Looks good! I always loved the midas blenny and flame angel! Just make sure to watch the flame angel if you decide to add corals :uhoh2:
