Two main issues limit the size tank the nano osmolator can be used for reliably to less than 55 gallons.
1) Since it lacks a safety back up sensor, the safety is a timer, the controller will never let the pump run for more than 3 minutes, after 3 minutes it turns off and will never run again until you cycle the power. On the 3155 the back up is the float switch, the optic sensor is the primary sensor and their is also a timer but it is 10 minutes.
2) They both use the same pump, however on the 3155, the pump speed can be adjusted to pump more, on the 3152, it is set at the slowest possible speed and cannot be adjusted.
It is possible it would work, but we don't recommend it, it is likely to be unreliable.
