what brand of heater should i get to put it in the heater slot?
i will using a 3155 ATO with that as well, i can see if have a spot for the eye. but is there a way to hide the back up float switch?

Their is no provision for the back up float, the intention isn't so much to hide the sensors as it is to improve the accuracy, the small filter box magnifies the surface change, basically with the suction of the surface intake, a 1mm change becomes a 2-3mm change in the box so it tops off with much less change in water level.

I personal preference is the Eheim or Jager heaters, but only the 50W will fit. Some other brands are shorter and up to 100W can fit.

thanks for the reply, do you know any heater that's not glass?
will aqueon 100W heater work? i know they recommended not over 75W.

I only know it has to be less than 250mm long (9.84"). While we don't recommend over 75W, I know of a few people using 100W without issue.
