3170 ph probe mod

Seen a few pics online which had a 3170 calcium reactor with a ph probe. (Pics enclosed).

Is this an option or can 1 buy an extra cap for the canister?

I wouldn't see why it wouldn't work but this is DIY, we don't make such a cap. The spare cap is available but it is not a part I stock in the US, I would have to order it and it wouldn't be possible to get it before lat January as the factory is closing for Christmas/New Years.
