340 A.G.E. Tank Build!!!!!

Well we have been tinkering. The tank needs to hurry up and get here so i will stop messing around with all this trivial stuff that I don't really need.

Here is the Ethernet port for a future controller.

Here is the exhaust fan controller. This will allow the fans to run on the same schedule as the lights to help cut down on humidity and heat.

The fans are vented outside the house, and we have not finished installing them. Maybe tonight, when it cools off. It sure is hot in the attic right now.

Told you, I am tinkering

Ed, my wife is not going to like you, seeing your exhaust fan, has given me some idea's. LOL I now have to find where she hid my Saw's all...

The tool thing was a sorry attempt at Humor, lol. I am looking foward to seeing your work on the venting, and basically how you set it up. I am going to need to do this before Winter, when I will be forced to close my Jethro venting in the fish room. LOL

Ok, well been working on the sump and refuge, will have build pics of them shortly. I built the sump and refuge from plate glass, and some mixup at the glass place worked out in my favor. The sump and refuge are made of Low Iron plate, not quite starphire, but hey they are still gonna be sweet.

More pics to come later tonight.

Very Nice! thanks for the pic's Hope they don't suck out all the heating and cooling on ya, ceiling fan may help a bit with that.

It is beyond my expectations. A.G.E. builds beautiful tanks, and I am very pleased. Cant wait to get this monster up and going. Sump and Refuge build pics to come.

both probably, I have had great luck with halides and see no reason to change it. Although i will need actinic of some sort, so probably a mixture of both. I wont really know until I start slinging lights up above the tank

Well got the vinyl put on today and I have to say it looks sweet. But I gotta say, people who do vinyl for a living, my hats off to ya. That is some hard stuff to do. I can even imagine how it is to do a car.
