Just filled it up with water tonight, if you want to help with plumbing sometime during the week shoot me a pm.

We filled it up with water to make sure there are no leaks. I am going to install new bulkheads and get the plumbing setup tomorrow. I also need to build a canopy to put 3 400 watt SE with lumenarc reflectors and 2 6' VHO actinics.

Worked on the canopy tonight, hooked up 3 400w lumenarc reflectors, and two 6ft VHOs actinics. I am going to use the plusrite 20k bulbs, I have the 14k 250 watts on my 90 gallon setup, and wanted to see the difference. I am still having trouble getting the bulkheads on there tight, its hard to get all the leftover silicone that was put on by the previous owner. The sump it came with is fairly small compared to the tank, so Im thinking about adding another tank on for a refugium.

Metal Halides are coming in tomorrow, ordered 3 20k 400watt plusrites
My roomate knocked over and broke my icecap ballast for the vhos and also the regulator/bubble counter for the ca reactor. I also need one more mp40. Im going to setup my 120 that Ive been trying to sell as a refugium. I need to rinse out the sand and dry rock I have but its been soo cold I've been holding out.

Worked on plumbing tonight, got the bulkheads in, and pump sump and skimmer positioned. I will glue all the pvc tomorrow and should start filling it with salt and sand when I get a chance this week.

Looks good so far. What are you going to run your skimmer with? I guess this is a dumb question but are you leaving this in the garage or just getting it together and then moving it in the house?

We're renting the house and cannot put it inside, so were keeping it in the garage. The skimmer is an ETSS and were using a Hammerhead pump for return/skimmer.

I made salt water today, got replacement cartridges for the kold steril, rinsed the sand and rock.

I added the dry rock and will start adding the live rock from my 90 this weekend. The 20k plusrites look great and I am really excited about moving the livestock into this thing.

Looking good! It looks like a lot more rock, now that it's in the tank, which is hard to believe considering the volume. I like the two piles, especially in a tank that deep. It should really give the fish room to swim naturally.
