About 99.9% of you have no idea who I am, but I believe I'm still a member here at DRC.

I figured I show you my new setup before I screw it up again!

Yeah, it's an acrylic, Craig. Here's a pic while it was still in the shop.

That's a nice looking tank Rob. can you tell us a bit about how you are setting it up. your sump, pumps filters lights .... that is some great looking rock too. lots of holes to stick frags and little critters to hide in.

Here's an old pic when I got done with the plumbing.

It has a Pan World for the closed loop and a Mag 9 for the return. The sump is also a custom by SoCal. They did the stand for me too.

The skimmer in an AquaC EV-120(I have a spare for sale, btw. wink-wink....).

No other filtration except an occasional bag of Chemi Pure.

Lighting is a 36" SLS Maristar 2x150W MH and 2x39W T5's.

And I have to agree, the rock is very cool! I got it from Serdar at Phishy Business. It's the Bali Ultra on his site. I would highly recommend it!

Wow I like that tank, set up, and just as Ken said, it's some nice rock to. I also like how you aquascapped. How many gallons is the display?

What is your overall plan as far as live stock? Are you thinking SPS or just a general reef with softies? Lots of little schooling fish or some big show fish?

You've got a great start to what ever you decide to do with it.

Hey Jon!

Those pics are from April. It's about the same as a 40G Breeder, 36"x16"x15".
It's is/will be mostly SPS. Right now I have 4 fish.

Ariel, the new pics will come late tomorrow! I promise...

Looks nice. You have some decent corals in there. Have you fragged any of them? Is this your only tank now? It looks really nice, I'm jealous.

I'll get another FTS and some close ups for you tonight when the Halides are on, Ariel. Maybe the pics will come out better.

Thanks Jon! Most of them are frags right now, so no I haven't fragged them yet. It is my only display, but I have a 20L frag tank going and growing a few LPS pieces.

What type of power head is that? Are you using just one? I need to look into getting some new ones and I have never tried any of that new style.

Those pics look pretty good to me. Add another vortech it will make you a member of the I have bare bottom flow in a DSB tank just like me

Yeah, that's a Vortech, Jon. I just added that a couple of weeks ago and I can't say enough good things about it. They really are incredible. Plus, I'm going to pre-order the wireless wave driver.

You have 2 Vortechs, Ariel??? Man, get me a job where you work!:lol:

If I thought that my wife wouldn't notice I would add 2 vortechs. She would have my head though. After all I am only pushing 75X turnover in my tank I NEED closer to 150. :lol: Actually I am jealous. I wish my tank looked that nice.
