37 aga SPS pics

I found this older pic. It might be 5 months old. You can sort of see the 90 elbow in the top right corner. It isnt bad looking now that it has some coraline on it. Before it was an eyesore.

yeah the tang police are after me. Do you think they would complain about a 8inch tang in a 6 foot tank? I see those all the time.

Nice tank, and nice photography too. Two of my favorites: red/orange rics behind the clam. Damn those rics are on fire! Also, the shot of the birdsnest and the flame hawk has some really nice color. Oh and, thanks to your inspiration, I just bought a naso for my 29!

Here is my refugium area. As you can see my temp is around 81 and my PH is 7.5 and I dont have a protein skimmer.

Yeah, Marty . . . simple is always better. I have seen some tanks with lots of expensive equipment and most of them are nice, but you can also get away with less. The most expensive piece of equipment I own is my Blue Wave HQI ballast.
I also own a
Radium bulb
Reef optix reflector
phosban reactor
Mag 5
CL aqualight mini 2x9w fuge light
Sea life systems refugium
ultra float switch
MRC cr-2 calcium reactor (used $250)
I think thats it

People give me a hard time about not having a protein skimmer, but the results speak for themselves. My corals look pretty good in a warm tank with a low ph and no skimmer. Go figure

my PH was around 7.8 - 7.9 before I hooked up the calcium reactor. Now it is around 7.5. Everything seems to be ok.
