37 gal for sump?

Thanks for all the info provided in this forum! I have a 40br and will be building a stand using the template on this site. Was going to buy a 20L for a sump but I do have a 37 gal (30Lx12wx22h) not in use. Would this be ok for a sump? Was planning on a stand height of 36". Thanks!

If it fits, why not? The bigger the better I have heard said here time and time again.

yea man if it fits put it in there.. it may suck getting the skimmer in and out (youll have to tip it on the side and all that not fun stuff) but youll be fine.. thats what I have to do right now myself..

Thanks, and lie I said I am making the stand shown on the template on this site and think at 36" of height it should give enough room. Was thinking of making the stand 40" because the 40b is 16" inches tall?
