37 gallon up running and cycled

Ok so I finally got my 37 Gallon up and running in the living room :) only took 2 years to convince my wife to move my tank out of the basement.

Anyways I set it up a couple months ago with just uncured LR and a skimmer and let it cycle, after moving it last night and doing a 50% water change Amonia 0 Nitrite 0 and Nitrate is 40ppm.

I'll do another wc this weekend.

So I need fish. This is going to be a easy reef hopefully, Polyps, softie, and LPS only.

Filtration through a DIY AC110 refugium, Eheim Canister, and a Aquamaxx HOB-1 skimmer plus about 65 lbs of Fiji Premium and Tonga Branch Live Rock.

Lighting is from 2 Current Orbit Marine LED fixtures providing about 45W of LEDs.

I'm going to stop by the LFS on my way home today and pick up my first fish, my son is so anxious he looks in the tank all the time and gets sad when he can't find a fish. So I'm thinking of a stocking list and don't want to severely overstock but I think I have plenty of rock, hiding places and filtration to stock decently heavy.

1. Some kind of Basslet probably Royal Gramma
2. Pair of Ocellaris Clownfish
3. Watchman/pistol shrimp pair
4. Firefish
5. A blenny of some sort, Midas or tail spot
6. Six Line Wrasse (last fish)
7. Cleaner Shrimp

Normal clean up crew Cerith snails, Nassarius snails, a few Hermit Crabs

I'll pass on the Six line if there seems to be too many fish at that point, I'll watch aggression and territory development as I add them at 1-2 fish per week.

Corals will come about 6 months down the road once the tank is more established and I have the maintenance schedule worked out.

Does this sound like a good plan?

i would definitely skip the 6 line. there is a thread in the new to hobby forum (PLEASE check out your intended fish purchase...). i would post your list there and steve (snorvich) will give you the best advice found anywhere! :)

After consulting with the stocking masters I decided on a stocking plan.

Firefish
Royal Gramma
Yellow Watchman
Ocellaris Clown (Pair)
Pink Streaked Wrasse
Small Blenny (Tailspot, Blue and gold)

Thought I'd post up a few pics, I know it's nothing like some of the tanks on here but it's what I can afford and fit in my house right now.

Pick up my first inhabitant last night after work.

Sounds like a pretty good selection except for the six line. I was seriously considering a six line and finally decided it just isn't worth the hassle.
I also have a 37 gallon tall tank like yours.

You probably know this but go slow. Give your tank a chance to adjust to new additions (both fish and corals) before adding more.
Also - make sure you quarantine new fish with copper treatments to avoid ich. Ask me how I figured THAT out. :(
