375 gallons and need a new chiller

I need to replace my chiller We have 1/3 horse unit but would like to move the chiller outside. The 1/3 hp unit is a little undersized (runs 15 hours per day...) I'm curious which unit the large tank guys are using.

The specifics are:
2100 watts of light
375 gallon display
2-sequence "barracuda" pumps
2-tunze pumps
and lovely south Florida weather (warm)

Will a 3/4 hp chiller work outside in 85-90 degree weather?
any recommendations would be appreciated.

Check out this thread of a 375 gallon build in AZ. I'm not sure where the chiller is in the thread, but it's in there and might help.

I'm in east central florida and have a 350 gallon inwall system. I insulated and a/c'd my garage. I just use fans on a temp controller for cooling. Hasn't been an issue for over a year. I do need to hook up an exhaust for humidity reasons this year. Click on the red house for my build.

i have a 400 gallon system with about the same amount of light as you and submersable return and skimmer pumps. i had the same issue with a 1/3 horse chiller, so i got a 1hp coralife aqua-chill. i have it outside, and it works great. my electricity bill actually went down because it doesnt run very long at all. here in san antonio, we hit 100 or more daily for a couple months straight.

The one in Az, was a very interesting set up, (not sure about the HP) but they had 2 separate compressor units, both outside, one cooling the tank and one cooling the fish room. Too bad they had to take it down, due to moving.

i've heard nothing but great things about trade winds chillers and their costumer service was great from personal experience. I have not had the chance to use my chiller yet but the unit is impressive, though large.
