Hey guys, I will give a proper update in a couple days loaded with pics :)

Just stumbled on your thread! Looks great, and by the sound of things, I think I'm going to really like how I anticipate your Montipora has begun to fill up space!

Changing some gear around including the lights. What do you think of the Radiums?

My AC3 reset itself right before going out of town and I had to reprogram it on the fly, forgot my commands for the denitrator and it crashed the reactor. I pulled it off line for now and set up a fuge in the sump with a 175w 5500k halide, growing some mad macro now :)

I did a 100 gallon water change with no salt :eek1: Took 1 month for the system to reestablish itself to the proper levels.

The bad storms took my power out for a little too long, lost a few fish so I am restocking a bit.

Other than that, I am just busy being a dad which is without a doubt the best thing that ever happened to me:

Congratulations on the beautiful baby girl!

Tank looks great btw, nice work. You're a bold man with that cowfish in there.

Just wondering if you tried out the diy heater tubes yet? I noticed that the heaters get so hot right below where you change the temp. out of water that it probably would melt plastic. Just making sure you tested it prior to installing it.

Nice build and tank!

Thanks, had the cowfish for a few years, always in a high flow SPS tank. As long as you choose the tankmates correctly there is nothing to worry about......although I put a giant green carpet in a tank with my pair of Jocs so I obviously have been sniffing too much glue at work ;)

Just got done reading your thread. Great work. You really have a DIY gift and really seem to mastered the craft of acrylic work and design. Really like the upgraded aquascape, and can't wait to see it fill into some really nice giant colonies.

Dan, the tank looks great with the new open space!!! any new update pic with the new corals? ;)
