Here are some pics I just took before the lights went out. The right light is already out ;) The tank has been set up running for almost 7 months now:) I'm not very good at taking pictures, still needing to pick up the manual on that. Also want to say thanks to Bob for the new additions, The tank looks a litle fuller:)

Here is a shot in December when I set it up

And now 7 months later...

Your tank looks awfully mature for only being 7 months old! Nice looking tank man!

Your current lights look more uniform and has a better color than the first pic. Don't tell me you were using 400W EVC 10K SE bulbs on an SLS Blue Wave M59 probe start ballast.

Very nice JJ! It's def. looking fuller now! Love the Crosshatch triggers! One of my fav. fish!

Thanks guys!

Yeah I've gone thru some changes since the first pic with lights...

2x 400w EVC 10k's
3x 400w XM's 20k's with t5's
4x 400w XM's 20k's with VHO's

I'm still planning on throwing some more light on top I have some T5's laying around that I might use to light the front more and keep the halides towards the back since that is where most the SPS's are

Yeah Sone I'll give ya credit bringing your XM's and putting them next to the EVC's was not a fair contest, I figure if I can't match the par of EVC's with XM's then I'll just throw more light at it lol.

Looks like the corals I had in Bob's tank could not have gone to a better tank.. How are the Chalices doing?? PM me if you want info on those.. They are not normal

The chalices I got from Bob watermelon and the alien eye are still in the sump/prop. . They look sort of browned out so I'm going to give them a little time before adding them. what do you mean "They are not normal?" Bob definitely had some nice corals and I'm glad I had the chance to get them. Although most of the corals I already had but much smaller in comparison.

Brad got the other part of Bob's collection so he should be posting pics soon.

Not looking for credit bro. Just wanted to give you crap like I always do. Would you expect any less from me? I got to give it to you though, your tank is awesome. You definitely didn't skimp on anything and it all looks very nice. Congrats!

I was not sure if he remembered the chalice names... The watermelon is from tyree as well as the alien eye

I don't think he could confirm if they were or not. I have a couple Tyree alien eyes already in the tank but it's hard to tell if they will look the same at this point because of the different tank cond, etc. definitely would be a bonus if I could get the Lineage to Tyree watermelon.

All I can say is "WOW"................bet you're really pleased with the way it looks.........

~Janey~

Thanks for the compliments, still a work in progress but I'm happy with how it looks so far!

Janey we need to do some trading, you should stop by sometime

Amazing!! One of the best tanks I have seen.

Looks like you need to frag some of those and I need to lighten my pocket book.

I love the ones I picked up last time. They are fast growers and super colorful.
