4 or 6 clown goby's in a 10gal?
i have a clown goby with a mated pair of false percs (which they are aggressive now and bite everytime my hands in the tank, the female atleast)

but they get along fine with a single clown goby.

this is a 10 gallon tank, plumbed into a 45 gallon system.

2 false percs
1 clown goby
2 cleaner shrimp

i got 2 cleaner shrimp because to feed the goby mysis, i gotta squirt quite a bit so i got 2 cleaners and a buncha hermits to clean up the mess.

i was thinkin, to help it, and since i LOVE the yellow color of the clown goby, can i keep about 4 of em? maybe even 6?

Biiiiig no no.

Clown gobies can become very agressive towards one another in smaller tanks and usually leads to the death of one.

People have said that they put 2 in a system as large as a 100 gallons and they still fight till the death.

Imagine what 6 would do in a 10 gallon lol.

You are probably pretty close to maxing out on fish. If all your params are okay, and your tank is healthy, the only fish I would add would be like a shrimp goby of some sort... maybe a yellow watchman, hi fin, or randalls....something that only grows to about 2-3 inches.

I have 2 clown gobies in my 10, they have been in there 2 weeks. From what I have read, one will become male and one female. They do not fight but they are not co-habitating yet, lol.
I would imagine that 6 would result in some deaths until a pecking order was established, prob not a good idea.

haha your thinking of clown fish dr. clown gobies dont have the same social base as clowns.
