What is a good bulb color combination for 12" shallow LPS & Softie tank?

I used to have a 24x24x12 frag tank with

2x blue plus
1x purple plus
1x uvl super actintic

All lps ( favias/ hammers) and zoa frags.

i run the same combo on my 20 long and it has a well balanced color.

I am running 2 blue+, a purple+, and a coral+, really like the color.

2 blue, 1 actinic and either a purple or coral plus depending on what you like. Purple plus will be a little more pink and a coral plus will be a little more white.

Lps tank? No sps? If I got rid of my sps I'd be switching to an actinic +, 2 blue+, and a coral +. In a 4 bulb setting, I feel like a purple AND a coral + is too heavy in the red spectrum. Yes, corals use red, but that's ALOT. When I went 3 blue+ and one coral+, my coral growth showed a quick boost and about 75% of my hair algae melted away. Could be coincidence.

Way to much blue for my liking. Run 2 athinic and 2 daylite of what you prefer I like 10k

Not really any good ones. I don't have any type of photo editor, or a decent camera. Any pics I take don't really show the true colors. It's a pretty blue look though, which is what I like.

Yeah, this may be the way I'll go. I can always add a couple of stunner strips for added blue or purple.

It's really hard to recommend a combination, a lot really depends on what you want the tank to look like. I like a blue purpl hue to my tanks but that's just my preference.

I have a 4 bulb fixture I can throw over my 40b tank tomorrow and take a few pictures for what it's worth.

2 blue plus
1 coral plus
1 true actinic

Here you go Jenn.
This is an aquatic life 4 bulb fixture, I normally run led/t5 over this tank. best pictures I could get with camera phone. A little more blue than in person.

You won't have any problems. If not careful you can bleach out sps with them. There's more than enough par even for a clam.
