Four day weekends sure let you get stuff done! Been busy and thought i would share...

Here are the raw materials.

I also started building my own frag tank(39 gal).

Near finished, just needs leak tested and drilled for bulkheads.

And finally where it stands at the moment, less rack for RODI storage and SW which are still in the garage.

Now its time to figure out how much Savko is going to need from me !!

Looks great. I need to get over to the store and get some acrylic. I need to also build and enclosure for my skimmer so I can have it in the Living room. Ah well that has to wait for now, I ended up getting a new car.

Not brave, just trying to save a buck or two so i can afford the rest of the stuff i want to get this up and cycling as soon as possible. I built a calcium reactor the week before.Trying to decide to fire it up on the 75 or leave it for the big tank. Its not that hard to build if you have the tools and take your time.

Which tools did you use other than the table saw?

Router, jig saw, and a drill. Square,good tape measure,and sandpaper, and clamps or at least some sort of weights

Im sure I could pull it off, and do have the tools. Just not sure I could sleep at night, or ever leave the house.

Yeah, i burned some K1 while cutting my plastic! Here is the reactor from last week

Its missing the output side of the pump and the rest of the plumbing and PH probe.

I got a pretty close estimate on my plumbing bill from Savko, lookin at about 260.00 in plastic pipe and fittings!! Got some material to build reflectors for my MH setup i'm workin on. Leak tested the reactor tonight and i will hook it up to the 75 tomorrow night if i have time. Going to cut loose the light fixture over the tank and get the drywall up this weekend i hope. Frag tank is still holding water with no leaks!!
