4 different colors of Duncans........

I talked to them about it and there are actually 5 different colors, yellow, purple, and 3 varieties of bicolor although I was told 2 of the bicolors are very similar. I passed on the bicolors since I already have some nice lavender/green tips I got from chelskisw6 but I ordered a yellow and a purple. I'll let you know how they look when I get them. Roe's Duncans typically have smaller polyps than most and the pics seem to reinforce that. We'll see.

I received mine today and the yellow one is more of a yellow tipped but its very nice.
And my purple wasnt fully opened but i was seeing a whole lot of green so i think he might have went me one of the bi-colored ones by mistake.
 
So the yellow isnt actually yellow? just with yellow tips?

the one in that pic looks bleached, but duncan can usually color up very fast, so im just wondering what the color actually looks like...

i bought a big chunk of a purple variety from someone local a few months ago, and when i fragged it, it looked like the one on the right, and after a few weeks was completely purple...

I may just order it anyway and see what happens... im always looking to add to my collection :)

Tyke: how is yours doing? any new growth?
 
nice yours had babies as well. He sent me a 3 polyp frag when i only wanted a 2 polyp plus it had to babies already eating.

Mine is finally over
i don't care for the ORA live aquiria version and unless Roe gets hot pink or orange or something like that i am so done buying those.
I will say that the purple colored ones i have seem to have the longest tentacles
