I've had a 40 breeder FOWLR going for about a year. It currently has a skimmer and canister but I want to upgrade to sump system. In looking at the supplies I have stock-piled, I have a Tidepool 2 (rated 65-125 gallons) as well as an eshopps overflow and a 500gph return pump. Can these things be used for my sump or are they overkill? Can anyone recommend websites with some tips on setting up a sump for the first time?
