40 Gallon Breeder reef tank build...

Here's a full tank pic...

Note how clean the sand is. And I didn't do a darn thing with it. All of my algae blooms have gone away without any panicking or work on my part. :D

Decided to move my Xenia more front and center. It's basically in the same place, but more out front on the rockwork. Sits in the flow better, is more open and pulsing now.

Yeah. I got a friend who has a 500 gallon reef tank with an entire rock full of mushrooms he doesn't want...and a few other choice softies and LPS he said are as easy to care for as softies...and I can have them for free.

You know, statements like that do not cause people to like you better! Free, the nerve of that guy.. Lol. That's pretty sweet!! Shoot some pics ASAP so we can all feel like lesser reef addicts.

That's the beauty of desiring corals nobody else wants. "One man's trash is another man's treasure" and all that. You know?

There isn't a person into SW/reef tanks I talk with that likes the corals I do.

Now I can imagine people thinking I was lucky if others were giving me all their SPS. ;)

I will. Don't I always? LOL. I have to wait until he gets his out of his tank as he's planning some coral renovations in his.

I'm envious of those who can afford to spend thousands of dollars on huge tanks fully stocked with huge, colorful corals and have wastewater treatment plants in their basements that rival what small cities have. :D

Picking up a really nice 5" diameter flat rock with about 10 mushroom caps on it of various sizes. Pretty green, striped mushrooms. I have the perfect place to put it and will be nice addition to my weed garden. Pics to follow.
