nice tank. i really like the caps. I am also thinking of getting a purple tang once my 58 is set up. I hope i can find one as small as yours.

Beutiful Digitatas. I wish "purple" would be that purple. It used was purple when I bought it at a Lousiana Reef Club Meeting but the guy who brought it left it in a bag un heated and it got realy cold in the bag. It's starting to come back though

Yea, the tang is a great fish. I bought him super super small....I do notice some growth but nothing drastic.....he still is really small. I hope by the time he may be getting big, I will be upgrading at that point...probably about a yr from now....I would not have bought him if i didnt have a plan for him to go into a bigger tank down the road.

i use a kangaroo perastatic pump....it seems to be keeping everything in check...as long as it is aadded in moderation...everything is fine.

I bought one of these yesterday at petcos sales ... yes sweet deal 40 bucks with top and light ... anyway ... does anyone know if this tank can be drilled .. i assume the bottom is tempered but what about the sides...

not too sure, the best thing to do would be contact Oceanic directly. They are a sweet tank though....$40 is and awesomee deal!

You should get some peppermint shrimp to take care of that aiptasia. The SPS look great though! How is that vortech pump working out?

Yep, I am going to get peppermints as soon as they are availiable at my LFS. I hope the aiptasia isnt too obvious in full tank shot? i know closeups u can tell....

The vortech is awesome! I bought it knowing i wil lbe upgrading to a larger tank eventually, plus i didnt want to put powerheads that would look soo huge in a 40 gallon tank. I have it about half now and slowly moving the speed up so the corals get used to it....
