40 tall lighting suggestions...

i am going to be setting up a 40 tall for seahorses. i'd like to keep macro algae and a few leathers and at the same time keep the temp down....

what would you suggest.... t-5's or pc's?????? what wattage would you recommend????

T5's will blow PC's away,

T5's will give you more light with less heat and power consumption, plus the variety of bulbs (spectrum) available far outnumber what is available in PC.
