400W 20000K PFO HQI Double-Ended Metal Halide Bulb

Hello,
I recently purchased 3 x 400W 20000K PFO HQI Double-Ended Metal Halide Bulb for my light fixture which runs on IceCap Electronic Ballasts.

I have heard recently that the PFO bulbs are intended to be run on a PFO ballast and they might get distorted running on an electronic ballast.
Do you have any information on this?

I most likely will have to return all three bulbs to you and run IceCap's 400W DE bulbs. Unless you would be willing to allow me to try out at least one of the bulbs and still permit me to return them should I not be satisfied with it.

Hi Albert,

Thanks for the question. I checked with PFO and they've confirmed that there are no known issues with any PFO DE bulbs and any HQI ballast including Icecaps.

In general though, we cannot take back bulbs once they have been fired unless they burn out, in which case we offer a pro-rated warranty to replace the bulb.
