Metal Halide ballast question (overdriving HQI bulbs)

So I’m running into a bit of a conundrum. I just got new halide fixtures but my ballasts are a different plug. Since they’re cheapo ballasts anyway I decided I’d look at getting new ballasts. Well I can’t find anything that specifically runs 150w. I found a dimmable 400 that can run 50, 75 and 100%. So would running a 150w HQI bulb at 200w do anything besides run up my electric bill? Would the bulb just blow?

Thanks! That’s the wrong connector unfortunately. I actually have a blue line metal halide system currently with those connections. I really appreciate it though!

I always cut off the proprietary connectors for ballasts and fixtures and replaced them with standard plug ends like these.
