Hi all,

Been a little while. The tank seems to be going good, saw a little starfish. I went to Scott's yesterday and picked up a couple of corals. One is a torch coral and I can't rememeber the other. Gotta say Scott is really cool and has some nice looking corals! Here are some pics!

On a side note, my buddy and I tried to buff out some scratches on the inside and now it lost all clarity, kind of looks milky. Is there a way to fix this? Do I just need to try the kit again? Thanks for the help guys.

I forgot to ask Scott what to feed my torch coral? I can't seem to find anything online, could someone help? BTW it looks healthy and really spread out.

I usually throw some mysis at it when I feed the fish.

Thanks a bunch Huhhhh,

I bought a diamond goby lastnight, hopefully he will clean up my sand. He is real skiddish and is just hanging out on the sand not really doing anything. Hopefully he will ge more comfortable and go to town on the sand. I'll post some pics this weekend.

Hi all,

Have a stupid question. The drain from my main display to my sump makes an a$$ load of bubbles. The bubbles cause a lot of salt spray. Is there a way yo stop this? I tried a sock filter, didn't work until I zip tied it to the PVC. Works great for about a week then it overflows. Is there an alternative I can try, its driving me nuts! Thanks a bunch,

You can get more filter socks and just replace them every few days. Once you are down to your last one, just throw the rest in the washer with a little bit of bleach. Thats what I do anyways.

Hey all, thought I would post some new pics of the galaxia I got from Scott. Looks petty good. I got some mysis and man the entire tank went crazy. My diamond goby must have ate 10 of those things! Even the bristleworms came out of the wood work. I was able to get a few onto the torch coral, think it made him happy. Stupid question should I feed mysis every day or every other day? Thanks a bunch and enjoy the pics!

LOL, not me I don't wear any gold, I was with my girlfriend tho. Was there round noon there was another couple there. I have it in a 45 will it be safe away from the other corals? I don't want to kill anything. I really want to buy a cool looking fish, just not sure what to get.

Huhhhh your avatar was awesome, it was one more reason to visit the forum!! Bummer you had to take it off, I'm sure you will get an adequate replacement!

It will be Ok bot it has 11 to12" runers dont put eney corals wher thay can be tuched or it will SMOK it in no time it got me

I'm jumping the gun here but checking out Scotts clams (Damn that sounds funny) I got bit by the bug. They look sooo cool but not sure if I can keep one in my tank. Anyone have any good info for a noob like me? Thanks a bunch!!
