I have a 45 gallon rimless with an overflow and about 30-40 lbs of rock 60 lbs of sand and a solar wrasse, the tank has been up for about a month was planning to add some platinum clowns in about a month but other than that any suggestions?

Do you have netting to keep the wrasse from jumping? Wrasses are notorious jumpers.

Are you going to add corals? I recommend at least a few easy ones. There are not a whole lot of non-reef-safe fish that you can put in a 45 (as I have found with my 30g, supposed to be FOWLR).

For suggestions:
- flame hawk, color and personality! although this will limit your ability to have shrimp, crabs, etc. mine is fine with a coral banded shrimp thst was significantly larger than the hawk when added. Thye have been been together about a decade, so I am pretty comfortable recommending that combo
- a bottom dweller, like a jawfish or goby. They would occupy a separate niche for. Your other fish, and since you have sand, you can do this.

Personally, I would not exceed 5 fish in a 45 if 2 of them are a pair of clowns.
