blv 14k is the same as ushio14k from what i understand, and i think you can get them at reefgeek. I have seen several posts on rc and other forums about them shifting color after only 3 months or so. They have almost the exact same spectral plot as the giesmann 14.5k, and I believe sanjay has pics of those on his tank thread.

I buy my 14k bulbs from Greatdel on ebay, they are shipped direct from China and what a bargain. Excellent color and the price is unbeatable. They have been reviewed in the lighting forums I believe.

For those who may be interested. . .

I still have alot to do yet, but I have my other three tanks combined in here now. Still need my VHOs up, new skimmer coming soon, and my chiller needs connecting yet. This all of course not counting sheetrock and carpet. So much left to do.

Great looking tank! How does your Regal Angel do with corals? I have one on order. You are about in the same stage as I am, tank up and running, but cabinetry under construction. Have fun, looks like the kids are! Pete
