46 Gallon Bowfront Stand Build

Well, I wish I would have taken pictures along the way, but I was in too much of a hurry to get it completed by Christmas so all I have for pictures is the finished project, so I figured I would post some pictures just to show it off =)

I was originally going to build the stand starting with the 3/4" plywood then build a frame inside with 2x4's to support it but once I had the plywood all together I realized it was plenty sturdy enough to support the weight of the tank, so now it resembles a stand that one might purchase from a pet store which allows me more space inside the cabinet for a larger sump.

The old stand had an inside measurement of 9" x 34" and the one I built has a dimension of 14" x 34" which can hold a lot more.

I'll add some more pictures here shortly of what's underneath, but just wanted to get this thread started, I'll take more pics today and throw them up here!

I just snapped some more pictures to share. I was wondering if any of you could tell by these pictures what kind of skimmer I have (it came with the tank) and any estimation on how many gallons its good for? I know that's asking alot from the picture but the pump is a Rio 700 if that helps???? Sorry I'm a NewB

I've got about 5 lbs of rubble rock under the bio balls in the wet/dry system and about 5 lbs of rubble rock in the refugium. I will be adding more to the tank once I get it placed where I want it. I'm moving it from the basement to the living room here in an hour or so, was giving it a test run in the basement to make sure everything was working correctly.

I'm setting this tank up so that my wife can have a porcupine puffer and maybe some perc clowns. I would like to have some mushroom corals or star polyps. Thats all I've got so far

According to the web, that skimmer is rated for a 75 gallon system so it should be sufficient enough? I hope so.
