48" 4 bulb icecap retro fit w/ lots of bulbs

i have a 48" icecap retrofit kit that is about 4 months old. $225
includes :
icecap 660 ballast
2 uv actinic white
2 uv super actnic
2 uv 10k
2 ati blue plus
it also has the tek reflectors instead of the icecaps and all the water prof endcaps and everything else that comes with the kit

from what i can find it says you can only run 4 54 watt t5s you might be able to do some more research or maybe someone will chime in

I Believe you would need 2 ballast to run 8 bulbs.

bills right the most the ballast can handle is 4 bulbs at 48"....ya can do 3 at a bigger lenth then 48" and ya 2 at bigger then that but 4 48" are the most it can handle
