48 gal bow tank question

I just purchased a used 48 gal bow tank. a tag on the bottom of the tank states do not drill, tempered glass. Does that mean just the bottom or the whole tank as I do want to drill it? Thanks

Just the bottom is tempered if that sticker is there. If it says "all panels are tempered glass, do not drill" then you don't want to touch the sides either. At least, that's always been my experience.

I've had two bow fronts, both Aqueon, and only the bottom was tempered.
