Unit comes with 2x 10K daylight bulbs and 2x actnic bulbs and 4 moonlights. It also comes with mounting legs.

I also have 2 extra actnic blue bulbs that I throw in.

will this fit on a 48 inch long tank w/ a hood???

Yes it should fit. The legs don't have to be used so you can just put the unit right on the trim. Yes all the lights are good. The lights that are currently in the unit have been used for 2 month and the replacement set of actnics have only been used for 2-3 days on a different light fixture.
