When I say custom, I mean ghetto
Selling for $200 or partial trade for established live rock - I need 15-20 punds for a 14g Nano.
I built this myself and don't think I can demand a premium for my workmanship! I built it by having the lumberyard cut everything and I just had a screw gun at the time.
Built for my then 75g Oceanic reef ready tank - standard 75g dimensions and I believe other tanks as well.
Canopy has doors that open on the front, has a ventilation slot along the top, and the stainless reflectors will need some cleaning.
Standard screw type metal halides, 250 watt @ 14k x 2 = 500w.
Straight pin power compacts, 65 watt Current Dual Actinic (420/460) x 4 = 260w. Single reflector and you'll see the ballasts on the back of the canopy, I gutted a Coralife Lunar Aqualight and replaced the bulbs to all actinic.
Works well but may not be the prettiest canopy in town. All lights have approximately 6 months on them.
Obviously, this could be torn down and fitted to a different canopy.
