Just a small sump on the back for the pump and heater. Water changes every 1 - 1 1/2 weeks. Actually a very simple tank to maintain so far. Just finished a cyano cycle while I was away in WA.

The clam just recently closed up about 2 days ago. He was fully opened prior to that and beautiful. I am not sure what is going on with it. I did a water change 4 days ago. Any ideas? He attached himself to a small piece of LR with a red shroom on it and has been kind of dragging it around...do u think this has anything to do with it.

Im not sure what is going on with your clam. Did anything in your setup change along with its behaviour? i always keep my clams in the middle on the sand bed so they dont attach to anything. but i dont think the shroom has anything to do with it...

The light has been really good. They had a problem with the bulbs. The first buld blew in about three days. I called customer service and they sent a new one out right away. The only problem was I didn't get it until a week later. The second bulb only lasted two days. I called customer service again very upset this time. They sent another overnight and explained that they had sent the lder style bulbs to me by mistake. I have had the new bulb now for a couple months. Love the light. I will post a pic later on of the tank with the light.
