5.5g Fish Ideas....

I'm setting up a 5.5g AGA reef and would like to add two small fish. I'm thinking of one small clown. What else could i do?

I have 2 clowns and a yellow watchman in my 6G eclipse...they've been there for over a year now...the clowns are now getting to big...just make sure you get the smallest ones you can find

you could do 2 neon gobies or a clown goby or rainfords goby.....but i wouldn't do a clown, if you got a tiny tiny clown make sure there's a bigger tank for it to go to.

Try getting a bigger tank! ;)

You can buy 10 and 20 gallon tanks for less then those 5.5 set-ups cost and then you have a lot more space to play with... relatively speaking.

As for the diadema - if you're referring to Pseudochromis diadema they require at least a 20 gallon tank and larger would be preferable for their long term health.

I second the 10, they dont take up that much more space and offer much more room. In a 5.5, I would get a fire shrimp and a piece of LR with maybe a Xenia or some mushroom polyps in it and leave it at that.

What ever tank you decide, a greenbanded goby is a great addition (I agree with the people above). I have several in a 135g tank and I love them.

Goby's are about you best bet here.

Here are a few of my favorite
