I'm looking for a small light that will work on this 16" long tank. I don't want to spend much on it so I thought I would see if I could find something used or a DIY project. Anyone have anything?

CORALIFE makes a very nice one with 2 9watt bulbs for fresh or saltwater setups Barry usually has some available or at least he use to when I was there more, but it has been awhile. If he doesn't have one in stock i am sure he will order it for you.
I did have a couple but i think they were at the house instead of storage.
they use to run about 39.95

I think a 250 HQI pendant with a 20K XM bulb should do the trick sufficiently.

could try one of the 6.5k flood lights... 65w PC.... seemed to work nice on my 20hex..

Right now I modified a 20" light strip to fit 2x26w 6500k screw-in lamps. This works for now but hangs over the ends of the tank. Tank is doing great with them and zoa's seem happy but I need some actinic light on the tank. If I could find a 12"-15" actinic lamp I'd be set.
