WOW, just had a 5.8 quake and the good news is I saw my rock formations in the tank are stable. The bad thing is lots of water splashed!

If you live in Souther California, how did you tank do?

Glad everything's okay! Water can be mopped up right??? Living on the East Coast I never thought about the earthquake/tank factor.

Water is in the carpet, but the heat that always is a pain in the you know what, from the metal halide balasts will dry it up in no time!

yeh, they first said 5.8, then 5.6 and now 5.4.. Strange because I would tihnk their equiptment would tell them the magnitude and that would be that, but clearly that is not the way it works.

Here is some trivia, pH scale is log base 10 same as Richter scale. So 5 is ten times bigger than a magnitude 4. I know you were all dying to know that.. NOT... but the math person in me had to say it!

Glad everybody's tanks are ok!
