5-bar Mystery Wrasse

no pix but just like a six line. i have had two the first was a holy terror. the one i have currently is an angel. very hardy, questionable personality.
 
Mystery wrasses are not as nice as fairy wrasses, they are much more pugnacious. I have two in my 225.

They are the first fish to chase a new smaller fish, although they always eventually quit.
 
They will also dessimate your clean up crew. I got one a few months ago and my hermits are being wiped out by him. Other than that he is amazing.
 
Mine leaves the blue legs alone, but god help a snail get upside down and try and right itself.

It is kind of a PIA to replace the snails but watching them shake the living heck out the snail is amazing.
 
mine was aggresive to my fairies, my peppermint hogfish(killed 2), and did a number on most of my h. crabs. my current one is much less of a bully. my solar wrasse and him actually swim together but i still occasionally find a crab inside out. it worth it though
 
In my experience the six line and mystery wrasse have had two completely different temperments. I have a mystery with a four fairy wrasses and a pencil wrasse and he doesn't even pay attention to them, he just cruises around the tank minding his own business. I also have a sixline in a tank that i can not add any more labrides too until i get him out. I had put a rosy fin fairy in with him about 3 times his size and he harrassed him so bad i had to put the rosy fin in a different tank. I then bought a trio of paracheilinus bellae that were all harrassed to death by the six line. Here's a pic of my mystery, not the greatest pic though. His colors have really intensified as of late, the first 3 or 4 months i had him he didn't show the white bars.

a mystery wrasse and peppermint hogs? You have expensive taste. i like it. got any tank pics?
 
I know that my LFS will never have a mystery wrasse. So i was wanting to order one from an online vendor. Any trustworthly vendor you know about.
