5 gal batches of Randy's 2 part?

Since I have room on my upper shelf for 2 of the 5 gal instant ocean buckets in my fish room, I'm toying with the idea of mixing up 5 gal containers of the 2 part instead of a single gal each. Or 2 or 3 gal containers if I can lay my hands on some. Is there any harm in making that much ahead and letting it sit for as long as it takes to drip in?

There's no harm in making as much as you like.

It will last forever, although the alk part may precipitate some of the solids if it gets cold.

What I did is went to Walmart and got 2 2 gallon water containers with a spout, 1 1 1/4 container for the mag mix.
