5 gallon project

my 10 gallon is now fixed so this project is back in bussiness after completing my 10 gallon again i had some free time on my hands so i decided to finish the stand and canopy and went out and got some sand and started the tank up i have some pics of it almost done i still have to add LR and a few inverts when the cycle is over and maby a clown goby...please excuse the foggy water i just added it in the tank.

heres the small filter i found laying around it kicks out quite a bit of flow.

i used molding to hold the tank in place when its on the stand.

looks good so far. do you have reflectors for the back of your lightbulbs? if not some tin foil even would add a whole lot of light into the tank.
 
haha well im happy to inspire you haha yea the beer can sounds like a good idea. i'll try to polish it up real good for maximum brightness.
 
if you want, you can always find a cheap halogen worklamp from HD, they usually run from 8-25 dollars. And then pull the reflector from behind there. I used those on one of my old tanks and it did a decent job!
