Just to let you know, you have to be a member for a while and have a number of posts before you are allowed to sell. I am sure the moderators will be by soon to close it, just giving you a heads up.

That's a bit of an annoying policy... I have nothing to post about other than the fact that I need to sell this tank.

The boards here are more geared towards information about the hobby. The sale of equipment and livestock is almost treated as a unwanted stepchild on here by the moderators. Since the goal is to pass information to grow the hobby it is important that members contribute to the community rather than simply join to sell their stuff. I understand why this may frustrate you in this situation, but try to see it from their point of view. If they allowed everyone to just jump on and sell stuff then this would be little more than aquarium.craigslist.com and all the valuable information would be lost in the classified ads.
I hope that clears things up for you. I am not a mod, but I have seen enough ads get dumped for these reasons.
