Good to hear, you must have gotten a good one. Those powderblues are ultra aggressive, at least ours was.

Our powderblue died, I suspect that it tried to fight every fish in the sump while we were waiting for the display to show up. It would do the circling like you mentioned almost like it was crazy. Ours would circle the perimeter of the tank like it owned the whole sump. Then one day I seen the skimmer foaming way low in the body and thought what the heck, looked and the powderblue was stuck to the skimmer pump inlet. I tried to get him out of there but as soon as I unplugged the skimmer it swam on its side down to the rocks and hid. I knew it wasn't good because it had a bunch of cuts on its side like it had been fighting for awhile. Never seen that fish again, fished under the rocks for a corpse but nothing. I suspect it had tried to fight every fish in the tank, but the other fish were ready and just kept tail punching it everytime it would come by to fight some more. I looked around for other battle wounds on the other fish and I found zero injuries on any of the others so I don't think one certain fish killed it. I think it harassed all the other fish until they sort of "jumped" it in a one on one fashion each time it would come at them going crazy. No more powderblues for us I guess, its a shame because we really like the colors of the PB's. Maybe we can introduce a small one sometime down the road.

Our achilles and powderbrown seem to have some sort of disagreement going on also, but nothing too bad. Yesterday they were circling in about a 4 inch circle chasing each other round and round for about 20 seconds, hopefully they get it worked out soon. :uhoh3:

I would imagine they got a little tired of being in those QT tanks for so long. I wish they could all be like the Naso family of Tangs. They dont care about anything that is going on and just go about their own thing slowly and peacefuly.

I have seen zero fighting with PB now. Watched him go right by the fowleri this morning and just ignored that he was even there. His fins are damaged pretty good though looks bad and just hangs out on the left end of the tank by the glass mostly going up and down. He is still eating though.

12 in right now. Vlamingii makes 13 and my last one has just been ordered that I will have soon. 14 is too many but o well lol.

I need to count all the fish because I don't know, I had to go count the tangs.

Edit: Guess I only have 26 fish. Have had 5 deaths from jumpers. Thought I had more.

Supposed to be a male but looks pretty much the same as the female lol. The original male jumped to his death and had so much more orange.

Sailfin initially got into it a bit with powder blue but not nearly as bad and was short lived. I will name the powder blue Tang Destroyer.

Wow 12 tangs is an accomplishment, good work your doing something right! 14 will be incredible. The fowleri looks pretty beat up on the back side but that will heal up in a few weeks, as long as the pbt has curbed its aggression toward the fowleri I would consider that a win. I know I haven't been on rc for a while but I didn't realize you had 5 jumpers, thats too bad. Were they jumping out of your display tank? We have 8 tangs at the moment and its going pretty good so far besides the pbt loosing its mind and fighting everyone until it died.

Nuxx for what its worth, from our experience regardless of size I would not put any tang up 1 on 1 against a pbt, LOL! That pbt we had was ferocious, it literally was the most aggressive tang we have ever owned. It really wanted to destroy all the other 6 tangs in our 300g sump. It was so bad I decided that we probably shouldn't try to add another pbt ever again. We have had some large ultra aggressive sailfins and they are like little sweethearts compared to this pbt we had :eek1::D

I had my female watanabei jump out a while back in quarantine. It was the night before I was moving them over. The girlfriend wanted to move them over the night before but I said one more day. Damnit that was the wrong call lol. A new one is in quarantine currently waiting to go in.

I had both of my clownfish jump out which I had from years ago in my 210 setup. So that was a bummer as I had them for several years. Female jumped out and our dog found her and she was rescued. But at a later date she did it again and it was too late. Then the male one night.

Then I had my purple psuedochromis jump out which was also from my 210 setup. That happened when I put the male swallowtail in and he got into a wresting match with my male watanabei. Found the psuedochromis on the floor. Must have only been 5 minutes or less. Still had a twitch but it was too late after I tossed back in.That was worse then poweder blue actually. He was shooting across the tank light speed and just attacking my watanabei so bad. Watanabei ended up hiding under a rock for the entire day before I got home and spent a couple hours getting that damn angel out. Apparently the little purple guy got so scared he jumped during that fight.

Then I lost the male male trigger the night I put him in...At that time it was the hell with this Im covering it with something. Found some vinyl screen out in the garage and made some frames. Put eggcrate on the quarantine tanks. If I would have just done that in the begenning I would have saved a bit.

Never had a fish jump in years but this time around I guess a different story.
 
All kinds of goodies coming tomorrow morning. I probably wont be able to sleep tonight. It's just as exciting as when I have computer parts coming!
