Plumbing all done. Going to pick up a tube of silicon to use for all the bulkhead components that are slip. Touched up the couple dings in the paint on the back. Rock will be next.

Jenny and I spent about 4 hours on the rock. Rinsing every piece and epoxy all over. We think it looks pretty good!

Then I fired up the hammerhead and found out it works lol! Zero leaks except for some dripping from both unions downstairs. Dont have big enough channel locks to get on them and hand tightening isnt enough aparently.. Ran out of water for now but it's started!

Dang man! Looking awesome! This is making me so jealous. I am still waiting for them to ship out my tank. How is the craftsmanship? The silicone, the bracing etc.

I'm sure I just missed it somewhere, just read through, but was the tank from Custom Aquariums? Can't wait to see how the H2overflow works.

There is a ton of black silicone and its done nicely. The aluminum framing is nice as well. The holes cut have beveled edges. All good in my book.

Have you tested the Neptune Automatic Feeder yet? If so did you use flakes or pellets? I bought a cheap automatic feeder that never really worked correct for me, so I was looking at the Neptune for when I get my controller (new system..). I've seen some mixed reviews on the Neptune feeder. The reviews said they were having issues re-filling it, occasionally dumping the previous leftovers into the tank.

Following along. You've got a lot of the same equipment I've been considering when I upgrade, including the tank. Except I was looking at 3ft width instead of 4ft. Now you're making me think about going 4ft, if the wife is on board :lmao:.

Can you take video of the H2Overflows from the top of the tank once it's completely full?

I put pellets in the feeder and ran it over the stand to see how it worked before the tank was here. Not sure what the problem refilling it is, its about as simple as it can get. Its nosiy which some like to cry about as well but big deal it's for a few seconds at a time a day and then I know they are being fed as well.

I will have plenty of videos and pics :)

The tank has been full and running since last night!

Drains have been noisy but it looks like I missed a small detail that will quiet them down. There are these insert things that go inside.
