500 Gallon Build

Looks so nice and relaxing. How are you taking your photos? Mine constantly look like the whole room is radioactive..! Definitely gonna have to get my go pro in there soon too!

The DSLR has no problem with the lighting. The GoPro Hero 4 Black does though, it comes nowhere even close in image quality. Things get very blue.

Is that repetitive buzzing noise coming from your powerheads? I imagine if it annoys me in the first minute it must really "p" off your fish. Is there something you could do to quieten them?

Just how it is with the mic in the water right next to them. It's the same for anyone else running these pumps out there too. Even in the QT tanks I can here the maxijets humming when its in the water. I dont do music as to youtube and its copyrights claims on everything. Been there and done that too many times, even TV in the background.

According to the tracking info I have clear netting waiting for me to replace the current dark screen. 1/4" openings and clear, rather then super tiny openings and dark.

Wow, that's a huge difference in light penetration from left to right. Did you dial back the intensity on your lights to compensate (for the corals)?

The fish have their timing down pretty good. Most of them will go to the left end of the tank and wait a few minutes before the food is dropped in. They can somehow tell the time.
