Someone on one of these forums, said that they heard the achilles eyes turn blue when they are angry. I think I have to agree. After going after Fowleri he comes away with blue eyes for a little while. Then go back to normal.

I think I am going to start using ozone through my skimmer in hopes that I can get crystal clear water because that has never been the case. It seems as if the more water your looking through, the less clear it looks.

Weird thing is my orp has been very high all this time without any ozone. Some may say the probe is dirty but its been this way since a couple weeks in. Started in the 300s and climbed rappidly. So if this is infact accurate, I have no room to do ozone.

Ya one downfall to the 4 feet of depth, it just doesnt look on that same level of clarity I see other smaller tanks at.

I do vinegar currently but its not much as my scrubber has the nutrients covered. And my carbon is undersized for the amount of water there is lol. I have a dual BRS reactor filled with carbon on both sides with just a maxi jet on it.

One thing I hate about photographing Achilles is spots on the glass against his black, they make it look like something else is going on with him
