Hey Roger,

recently my osmolater has just stopped working and the alarm doesn't shut off.:uhoh2: The too high led is on and the too low led is blinking when I power on the unit. any idea what's going on??

thanks,

Rich

That isn't a good sign, in general this means the controller sustained some water damage. It can also be due to a signal conflict, i.e. float is raised and optic sensor registers a too low water level. If the controller is mounted in a known dry place, the water damage is less likely, if it was mounted near something that may have spilled or overflowed or left sitting on the floor of a stand, this is very likely the issue. If you can tell me more about the set up or post a picture we may be able to troubleshoot it further, you might also open the controller and look for any water damage, it just takes one drop getting to the board.

thanks for the reply. the controller is located in a dry area. I can't say 100% certain that a splash of water could not have touched the controller but it is very unlikely. I've opened up the controller and took a picture, hopeful this can help out. couldn't really see any water damage but maybe i missed it. sorry for the huge picture.

i've used it for about a year now, but it's probably much older than that. I can send it in, it would give me a reason to purchase the updated ac plug since the one I got when I purchased this used was a universal one.

where do i send it to

thanks

If it has the switchable power supply, I cannot promise a whole lot, that places it as pre 2007 and a lot has changed making repair difficult. I will do my best. Worst case I will discount a replacement.
