52g Oceanic RR Setup
This is my pride and joy for the last few years. I am moving and am now able to upgrade. I haven't bought my new tank as Im not moving until late December. I'd like to have this tank sold by then so I can just break it down and have it gone before I move to the next place. Thus you can come and look... and buy but I can't deliver it just yet. But I can deliver it to your house if reasonable.
I assure you that the plumbing and sump setup were done to perfection. I take extreme pride in my front glass so it is VIRTUALLY scratch free. The caulking is in perfect condition. It is drilled twice in the back with a black acryllic overflow. It is Oceanic, the front is starphire, etched and polished corners, and black rim.
The stand has been wearing as it's been through 3 different states Texas, Florida and PA. But it still stands tall with a smoked black glass front made by Oceanic. The canopy was engineered and made by me. It looks fantastic and is built like a fortress.
The sump is comprised of 3 chambers. First is the bubble overflow chamber where I fit 2 return pipes and my return pipe from the skimmer. Next is the fuge and skimmer section (the largest section) and lastly the bubble trap to the return. The tank size I believe is around 20g or so. It fits PERFECTLY down there. I fit an ASM G3 with all of the mods down there comfortably. The plumbing is rather expensive as I used a dozen unions and ball valves. It is also plumbed for a closed loop system. I seriously over did the flow.
The lighting is hardwired through the canopy. It includes 4x 24" T5HOs alongside a 175watt MH SE M57 with a 14k bulb (4 months).
I have owned numerous tanks from all qualities and standards. 220g Oceanic to 100g perfecto. This is the highest quality used tank of it's size.
