54g corner bow front filtration question

I just traded for a 54g corner bowfront...and my wife took it away from me and wants to do her first tank...there is no room under the stand for any descent size sump/fuge. so here is the question:

Is a medium hot refugium and an aqua c remora skimmer enough filtration for the tank? she will probably have 3-4 fish max. she has not even decided anything for fish.

The tank will be a soft coral tank with emphasis on zoas.

If you plan and stock the tank correctly, you could go skimmerless.

It sounds like with just 3 -4 fish (sm-m size) and softies/zoo's, that you cloud get away with going skimmerless. Just use plenty of LR, adequate circulation (prob 2 K4's or the equivalent), and regular water changes.

I already have the skimmer so that is not a problem...no cost there..so with the hot fuge that will be plenty filtration?
