Brand new never been used . Make offers !

I would like it if the price is right. I don't have a clue what to offer, $5 ;) Seriously whats it worth? Perfect for my planned 50 gallon a pop water changes!

Hmm, so the top does not come off? Just the hole screw caps? I wonder if a MJ 1200 will fit in a 2x2 hole and if it will be able to mix the water well. I wonder if a MJ1200 could push the water up and over the side of the barrel from the bottom to even get the new salt water out of the barrel... I may have to think on it because I was planning a bigger pump to push the water up and over the planned trash can water mixer.

Angela--I think what your looking for is a 50 gallon drum with a screw top sealable lid. The ones I have are airtight and cast me $25. Unfortunately, they came from AL. I was unable to find them in Nashville. I would be willing to bet that if you start calling around the Co-Ops and Tack-n-Feed places around where you live, you would be able to find something similar.

Thanks for the ideas! I think I will go with a trash can just to be able to store my buckets and junk in between water changes. Great water container though for someone wanting to store fresh RO all the time though!!

anglea, I am sure that if hte pump does not fit inside, you could always cut a larger hole in the top .

Someone was thinking..and you can orer them in nashville but you will pay atleast$75.00

15 years ago I used a drum like this as a DIY wet/dry. Filled it with plastic tubes used to dye sewing thread (unused) and made a spray bar out of 3/4 pvc. Worked really good at the time and MUCH cheaper than the commercial wet/dry's available at the time.

Much has changed since then...lol

LOL wet/dry filter ....wow that must have been tricky ..These drums make a great way to store water and also for water changes for big tanks also ...
