Just curious...the first T5 photo was taken with the daylights on yes? The second photo with the VHO were actinics correct?

Sounds like you are going the same lighting choice as I will be soon- MH w/ VHO supliments. I like the combo.

If I decide to go this route, I'll need to get some HQI pendants. There's no way I can fit the spider reflectors and the VHO tubes in the canopy of a 55.

Both pics were taken with full lighting on. In the case of the T5s that was 2 actinic plus and 2 aquablue plus. With the VHOs that was 2 true actinic and 2 daylight.

I think your tank is one of the most natural ones I've seen. I really like it. How long did it take for your zoas to carpet like that?

It vary's pretty widely. Some started as small frags, some as mini-colonies. Some were in my previous 120, some were added directly to this tank. This tank has been up for about a year now.
