550g Circ ideas needed

Hello all... I could use some help. I am trying to plan out a 550gallon DT and I am not sure of what type of circ I would be doing. It will be a mixed reef with the DT being 120"x30"x30". I also haven't thought out the plumbing and drain but will be working on that soon.

What to use... Tunze, VorTech, or CL? How many and where to place them.

Let me know if you should need any more info.

Why did you select that size tank? Size restraints on the width of the tank?

I was thinking of using one as I will be using one for return as I will have a remote fish room.

Max length I might be able to do is 144", as far as width, I could do is 36". The 30"x30" seemed like a good number for maintenance as this will be an in wall with no access to the back side. Now you are using a Hammerhead (gold? and if so why) for your CL correct? But aren't you also using a few (4?) vortechs as well?

Just read the 'recap' in your thread LL... nice work. I was also thinking of using T5's but was worried it wouldn't work well with a tank this size. Since you have had the tank running now for a bit... how have your corals been doing.... Do you have and SPS in there?
